Empire Recycling made a significant investment in 2007 in a state-of-the-art aluminum shredding recovery system. This system allows aluminum scrap to go directly from the yard, get sorted, graded and shredded, then stockpiled for mill delivery.

Empire's aluminum shredder processes millions of pounds of material per month which is then shipped to mills both domestic and overseas.
